So another year has passed and we look forward to 2014 with optimism and hope.
I don’t really go along with the whole “New Year, New Me” mentality. Of course the Christmas break gives us all a chance to step back and assess the last 12 months; what did we achieve? Are we happy where we are? Where do we want to be this time next year? But in my opinion, you should be asking yourself these questions through out the year not just at New Years.
Create realistic, bite size goals which are spread out across the year. Don’t expect a huge change to come just because we have started a new year because in reality it is just another day, week, month, year. Challenge yourself every month, question where you are and where you want to be. Set up a plan to get yourself there and stick to it!
Hopefully next year you will be where you want to be and won’t need to “renew” yourself in 2015.
